i have an hour before my next class so i figured i'd post some stuff.
i'm from barcelona - we're from barcelona.
i don't really know how i stumbled across this band but they have an ep coming out soon that's probably impossible to find.
grandaddy - pull the curtains.

jenny lewis from rilo kiley is doing her solo thing now. the album, titled "rabbit fur coat" is coming out in january on team love records but until then you can just go to the link above and listen to the new songs live at the echo when she opened for the elected.
sia - breathe me (four tet remix).
the original was used in the season finale of six feet under. there are other remixes by mylo and mr. dan but four tet did the best job by far.
the american analog set - the postman (styrofoam's like the nineties never happened mix).
i'm a big fan of anything andrew kenny does and seeing as i'm also a fan of styrofoam, i was surprised i hadn't heard this song before.
boards of canada - peacock tail.
i only know like three other people that like this kind of stuff, but i figured i'd post it anyway. this is a new song off "the campfire headphase" that should be coming out soon, if it's not out already.

well im back from my little / huge fucking trip.
it was soooo good. chelsea and i camped in morro bay and big sur.
stayed in san luis obispo and san francisco.
and then camped at the kern river with a bunch of sweet people this weekend.
i have so many pictures to go through and post i can't even think about it.
so many good things happened:
- we made friends with a monkey named monkey in morro bay
- camping in big sur was super beautiful
- our hotel was right in front of chinatown in sf
- we saw will smith in the street out of our seventh floor hotel room
- the crazy steve-o wannabe street performer at pier 39
- finding exactly what i was looking for at haight and ashbury
- driving for six hours and going crazy in the car
- being the first one to "test-out" the rock jump
- beer bongin with captain carnage and his sketch river raftin crew
- chelsea's wonderful experience with watermelon juice
- punching every single fucking bee in the face
- sleeping next to chelsea for eight days in a row
1245 miles later, im home, in bed, probably stayin in tonight.
ill be posting some pictures on here as well as my website.
but tonight i just need to rest.
i miss hanging out with a lot of people,
and it just hit me that i'm moving to sf in less than three weeks.
let's do sweet stuff guys.
